Planet Kids is the first Inclusive indoor play and activity centre in South Africa: we cater and care for children with disabilities as well including birthday parties. We are the place for all children.

Besides that we host great children Birthday Parties, we organise School Holidays Workshops and serve great organic freshly ground coffee and parents are free!

Planet Kids is the perfect Kids Birthday Party venue, where we’ll take care of all your individual party needs and make sure your child has a Fantastic Birthday Party.  We host Children Birthday parties from 10 to 65 kids.

Planet Kids is open every day from 10 -6 for single visits, group visits (schools, creches & other educational institutions at discounted rates; conditions apply) and we’d love to organise your child’s most memorable birthday party that all the kids as well as the adults will enjoy. Remember we only charge kids, adults are free.

News & EXCITING Specials in the month of January 2012

PLEASE NOTE that on Sunday 29th January we’ll be CLOSED to the public AFTER 15.00 due to an Exclusive Party. We will be open to the public from 10.00 till 15.00 on Sunday

Yes we have become quite popular to those parents who need to drop off their child  with us when they need time for themselves !(please call first to check availability).

We have a new range of excellent 2nd hand books available. Come and see for yourself. 

Check out our very cool Dance classes every Tuesday afternoon with Krystle, our professional Dance teacher which all the kids love:

Modern Dance Classes with Primary Dance on Tuesday afternoons. The classes are held once a week and last 30 minutes with 15 minutes of play at Planet Kids before and after classes. Children can sign up for a term at R320 a term or R50 only for a once-off session. There will be 3 classes as follows: 5-7 year olds 3-4pm; 8-10 year olds 3.30-4.30; 11 to 13 year olds 4 -5pm.

Baby Play Date On Friday mornings from 10 am – 12 noon there will be a group for 6 – 12 month olds for Mommies and Daddies and babies to socialize. As we only charge from 10 months old the younger babies and their parents can come in completely for free. The 10 -12 month olds will be charged from R20 – R22 a once-off session (depending on their age).

Mom’s Day Off and Toddler Play Date On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am – 12 noon there will be a new group for 18 – 24 month olds where they can socialize and practice saying bye-bye to Mommy. We will make this the same time as Toddler Play Date for the 12 -24 month olds where mommies will stay to make the transition to Mom’s Day Off easier.

Ooops almost forgot: we have feautured on national TV 3 x already: Besides SABC’s “Free Spirit” we were  on etv’s “Great Expectations”  as well as on the new “Expresso” morning show.

Drop-off fee: additional charge of R20 /h for children under 8 Frequent visitors can purchase bulk visits (a ‘Monthly Card’) and receive a discount.

Planet Kids is located at 3 Wherry Road, Muizenberg

Wherry Road runs parallel to the railway line. Planet Kids is almost directly behind False Bay Station (on the vlei side of the railway).
